One of the things I find most difficult when exploring is to eat healthy while you travel. A balanced nutritional diet is fairly important to keep your energy levels up and brain active.
The problem wasn’t always the cost of buying the food, other things like storing fresh food and sourcing it in some places could prevent me from making better food choices. Continue reading Eat healthy while you travel
Almost two years ago I blogged on the Clipper Round the World race when it visited my home town of Derry. And here we are again in the sunshine ready to welcome the crews back to the North West.

We get to the train station on time which is good news for me as I want to go to the cash machine again. Continue reading Italy: Day 16 of 17: Genoa a good place for a drink?

Then to add to that the person sleeping below me arrived. Some ex military US fella. He was hammered, and although not too noisy added to the problems getting sleep. And to boot the Danish old man woke a few times in the night sounding like he was about to die clearing this throat. Continue reading Greece: Day 13 of 17 I can’t get no sleep
